  • On-device only

Compression and conversion run in the browser — pixels never leave your phone or computer.

  • No photo upload

During processing the file body does not go over the network. Save mobile data: you are not shipping megabytes to someone else’s server.

  • No ads

We do not show ads and we do not accept your files. We physically never see your photos.

  • We don’t store photos

We do not save images on a server or in the cloud. Open, process, download.

How it works

Your photo stays in browser memory and is not sent to our server during compression. Opening the site still downloads the page as usual. For visit stats we may use Google Analytics: page, device type, button clicks — not file names or pixels. Language choice may be remembered in the browser. Analytics cookies are Google’s; you can limit them in browser settings. You can also press Offline in the header to cache this language’s tool pages and engines on your device; your files are still not uploaded.

WebP is common on websites and in messengers. If an editor, printer, or Windows form only opens JPG — re-encode the file here.

Decoding and JPEG saving run in the browser: the source is never uploaded. You can cap the long edge so the attachment doesn’t balloon.

Batch: several WebP at once, then ZIP or Share on iPhone. Use the quality slider when you need a sharpness-vs-size tradeoff.

FAQ

Why is JPG heavier than WebP?

WebP is usually more efficient. JPG is for compatibility, not for a smaller file.

Will WebP animation be kept?

No: JPG gets a single frame. For a clip, keep the original WebP or convert to video.

Do I need an account?

No. Choose files on this page and download JPG — no account and no cloud.
