  • On-device only

Compression and conversion run in the browser — pixels never leave your phone or computer.

  • No photo upload

During processing the file body does not go over the network. Save mobile data: you are not shipping megabytes to someone else’s server.

  • No ads

We do not show ads and we do not accept your files. We physically never see your photos.

  • We don’t store photos

We do not save images on a server or in the cloud. Open, process, download.

How it works

Your photo stays in browser memory and is not sent to our server during compression. Opening the site still downloads the page as usual. For visit stats we may use Google Analytics: page, device type, button clicks — not file names or pixels. Language choice may be remembered in the browser. Analytics cookies are Google’s; you can limit them in browser settings. You can also press Offline in the header to cache this language’s tool pages and engines on your device; your files are still not uploaded.

Recompressing JPEG adds artifacts: start around 70–85% and watch the preview instead of jumping to the minimum.

Size drops most when you also resize the long edge (e.g. 1920 or 1600 px). Quality alone on a 12-megapixel frame helps less.

Several JPGs at once, ZIP at the end. Sources stay with you — handy before a site, listing, or email.

FAQ

Can I batch?

Yes — upload several JPGs and download a ZIP.

Is 75% quality too low?

For the web and messengers it’s usually enough. For print or archives keep the original and don’t recompress repeatedly.

Why is the file a bit larger after compression?

Rarely, if the source was already very light. Lower the side or quality and hit Recalculate.
