Make this language offline — Offline button in the header

  • On-device only

Compression and conversion run in the browser — pixels never leave your phone or computer.

  • No photo upload

During processing the file body does not go over the network. Save mobile data: you are not shipping megabytes to someone else’s server.

  • No ads

We do not show ads and we do not accept your files. We physically never see your photos.

  • We don’t store photos

We do not save images on a server or in the cloud. Open, process, download.

How it works

Your photo stays in browser memory and is not sent to our server during compression. Opening the site still downloads the page as usual. For visit stats we may use Google Analytics: page, device type, button clicks — not file names or pixels. Language choice may be remembered in the browser. Analytics cookies are Google’s; you can limit them in browser settings. You can also press Offline in the header to cache this language’s tool pages and engines on your device; your files are still not uploaded.

Photos store more than you think: shoot location, phone model, exact time. We wipe that data in your browser. The original never leaves your device — you get a clean file ready to post.

Handy before sending to a chat or social network. Quality stays high by default; shrink the size only if you need a lighter file.

Nothing is sent to a server for inspection or cleaning — the same privacy model as compression.

For techies

Output is encoded in the browser (Canvas API → toBlob); EXIF/GPS segments are not copied into the new file. Check: open DevTools → Network while processing — only site static assets (HTML/JS/CSS) load; your image body is not uploaded to our origin.

FAQ

Is the shoot location really removed?

Yes. The download is rewritten locally without GPS or camera service tags.

Do you store my photos?

No. For this tool, files never leave your device.

What about HEIC?

HEIC is decoded locally and saved without metadata as JPG, WebP, or PNG.
