  • On-device only

Compression and conversion run in the browser — pixels never leave your phone or computer.

  • No photo upload

During processing the file body does not go over the network. Save mobile data: you are not shipping megabytes to someone else’s server.

  • No ads

We do not show ads and we do not accept your files. We physically never see your photos.

  • We don’t store photos

We do not save images on a server or in the cloud. Open, process, download.

How it works

Your photo stays in browser memory and is not sent to our server during compression. Opening the site still downloads the page as usual. For visit stats we may use Google Analytics: page, device type, button clicks — not file names or pixels. Language choice may be remembered in the browser. Analytics cookies are Google’s; you can limit them in browser settings. You can also press Offline in the header to cache this language’s tool pages and engines on your device; your files are still not uploaded.

PNG is great for graphics, screenshots, and transparency, but often overkill for photos: JPG of the same scene can be many times smaller.

Transparent areas become a light Canvas background when saved as JPG — check the preview if the alpha channel matters.

Handy before email, a CMS, or a marketplace where PNG hits a size limit. You can lower quality and max side further.

FAQ

How do I keep transparency?

Stay on PNG or pick WebP in the main compressor on the home page.

Why does a screenshot look soft?

JPEG handles fine text poorly. Raise quality toward 90% or keep PNG/WebP for UI.

Can I do a batch at once?

Yes — select several PNGs and download a ZIP of JPGs.
